BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

The Group actively explores opportunities to diversify its business portfolio into operations with significant growth potential.

The Business Development Department is responsible for studying the Group’s mid and long-term development strategies, conducting researches on significant investments, financing, capital operations, asset management and other material issues affecting the development of the Company. It shall provide advice and suggestions to the Board of the Directors of the Company enhancing investment decision-making procedures, inspect the implementation of investment plans and conduct follow-up investigations making adjustment recommendations in a timely manner.

In the midst of an emerging digital and technological era, the Group sees the need to keep pace with as well as to captivate on this fast evolving technological market. Information technology is taking an increasingly central role in dictating the development of today’s commercial behaviours. Since September 2016, the Group expands its business portfolio to e-commerce including the establishment of e-commerce platform and the development of Blockchain application technology.

Core team members

Mr. Liu Steven Qiang
Mr. Liu has been appointed as an Executive Director and the Chief Executive Officer of the Company in September 2016. He is the chief executive officer and a 50% shareholder of St. Joyal, a corporation with principal place of business in Los Angeles, California, the United States of America. St. Joyal is the registered owner of ATS Capitals Inc., a business that serves the financial needs of business communities. He is also currently a 4.4% shareholder of Nova LifeStyle, Inc. (NASDAQ:NVFY) (“Nova”), a designer and modern lifestyle furniture company listed on NASDAQ. Mr. Liu has extensive experience in banking and management. Mr. Liu has experience in overseeing acquisitions and investments, and has developed a great reputation in the industry.

Mr. Ng Man Shek, Alex
Mr. Ng has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company in November 2016. Prior to joining the Company, he served as the position of corporate secretary of Nova from June 2011 to October 2016 and the chief operating officer of a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nova in Dongguan, the PRC since 2003. He worked in various companies in Hong Kong, Canada and the PRC. Mr. Ng received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from York University, Canada in 1994. He has also received a Certificate in Securities Course, a Certificate in Technical Analysis Course and a Certificate in Derivatives Course from The Canadian Securities Institute during the period from 1998 to 2002.
